VIAVI MAP 2800

The VIAVI MAP-2800 is a rack-mounted network test head designed for centralized and standalone Ethernet/IP testing at line rates from 10 Mbps to 800 Gbps. It enables service providers, data centre operators and network engineers to remotely verify transmission quality across data centre interconnects, carrier Ethernet, core and metro networks, as well as WDM and OTN services.

Designed for remote and unattended operation, the MAP-2800 supports automated testing, performance verification and troubleshooting through the VIAVI Fusion Test System or standalone management interfaces. Its comprehensive test capabilities include Ethernet service activation, bit error rate testing, TCP throughput analysis, optical module diagnostics and cable testing. Remote access and automation options help reduce the need for on-site technician visits and support efficient network maintenance.
