VIAVI F 16 IFF

The VIAVI F-16 IFF Antenna Coupler Kit enables reliable, isolated testing of F-16 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogator and transponder systems in ramp and hangar environments. By coupling directly to the aircraft antennas, the kit eliminates the variability associated with over-the-air testing in high-multipath environments and enables accurate radiated power and transponder Minimum Trigger Level (MTL) testing.

The kit is designed to work with most IFF ramp test equipment and provides EMI shielding to minimize stray transmissions and interference. The interrogator coupler mounts over the aircraft’s four-element interrogator antenna array, while the transponder couplers mount over the upper and lower transponder antennas. The interrogator coupler kit supports all F-16 aircraft blocks, while the transponder coupler kit supports all F-16 blocks except F-16A/B, Blocks 10/20.
