Distributed Temperature & Strain Sensing

The VIAVI FTH-DTSS is a Fiber Test Head for Distributed Temperature and Strain Sensing (DTSS), providing continuous and real-time monitoring of fiber cables and fiber-enabled assets. Based on Brillouin OTDR technology, it simultaneously measures temperature and strain along extensive lengths of optical fiber, enabling immediate detection and localization of anomalies. The rack-mounted solution is part of the NITRO Fiber Sensing solution and is designed for permanent monitoring of critical infrastructure.
