Distributed Acoustic Sensing

The VIAVI FTH-DAS is a Fiber Test Head for Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), part of the NITRO Fiber Sensing solution. It provides continuous, real-time monitoring of fiber-enabled assets by detecting and localizing vibrations and acoustic disturbances around critical infrastructure. Embedded AI/ML enables edge-based event identification, classification, alarm generation and tracking with low latency.
