The Maxcom MX-T1500E is a 1550 nm direct modulation optical transmitter designed for FTTx applications. It features a high-linearity, low-chirp DFB laser with built-in pre-distortion, AGC, APC, and ATC for enhanced signal quality.
Ideal for transmitting digital QAM CATV and DOCSIS RF signals over fiber networks up to 20 km, typically with an EDFA. It is used when the QAM source is located at the EDFA site, ensuring optimal signal amplification and transmission performance.
