The Huawei SmartAX MA5800 is a next-generation multi-service Optical Line Terminal (OLT) designed for high-capacity broadband access networks. Its distributed architecture supports GPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON and high-speed Ethernet interfaces on a unified platform, enabling flexible deployment across FTTH, FTTB, FTTC and FTTR networks. With support for service virtualization, intelligent network management and evolution towards 50G-PON, the MA5800 helps operators simplify network architecture and expand capacity as demand grows.
