The active combination network is designed for the extremely low-noise and low-distortion interconnection of up to 8 basic units. The gain matching can be effected individually for each input by means of fixed attenuation elements (pads). The U 901/VZN 8 receives the operating voltage either directly via the RF inputs (remote feeding via V 16) or via an external terminal. A measurement point (-20 dB, directional coupler) is available for measurement purposes. Used for installation into a rack, alternative trims installation.
