CPM 4 CLEARPATH Module
Locating Ingress in Return Path
Electroline's CPM 4 is a return path switch that locates the source of ingress in a hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) network. To determine where the ingress is located, the CPM 4 selectively switches a 6 dB pad into the return path. The CPM-4 utilizes a smooth switching transition that will not disrupt high-speed data services. The effect of the return path switching is monitored and displayed on a spectrum analyzer at the headend.
