The Harmonic Electra 8000 is a high-density video encoding and transcoding platform for professional cable, satellite, IPTV and terrestrial broadcast applications. It supports MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC encoding in SD and HD formats, with up to four video channels in a compact 1 RU chassis.
