The ASTRO V 253 CI is a professional-grade modular plug-in card engineered for the ASTRO V 16 headend system. Its primary function is to serve as a high-efficiency signal converter, capturing two independent satellite input signals and transforming them into standardized ASI data streams.

Features:

• Conversion of two independent QPSK or 8PSK input signals into ASI transport streams
• Routing over software to up to four outputs
  
• Re-Editing of transport streams with ASTRO IP-Gateway U 262 or with every other ASI transport stream compatible equipment (eg. multiplexer)
• Multiservice descrambling
