The EDGE FM modulator ESM 112 & 124 of BLANKOM Digital allows the feeding of up to 24 FM-programs in a CATV network. The programs are either fed directly as MPEG transport stream or via an IP network as a unicast or multicast data package. After the transcoding the 24 (12) radio programs are available in the desired frequency range as RF signals. The operation and configuration can be done in a simple way via the Web browser of a laptop or PC. An Ethernet interface with SNMP agent can be used for the integration in a network management system.
